Description

Commercial condensate pumps are mainly used to collect condensate from steam systems, boilers, or air conditioning terminals (such as fan coil units and air conditioning units) and transport it to designated recovery points (such as boiler feedwater tanks or drainage systems). Their operating characteristics include intermittent operation, low flow rate, and low head requirements, but they have special requirements for automatic control, leak prevention, and cavitation prevention.

Installation and maintenance recommendations

To ensure optimal performance and lifespan, please note the following during installation and maintenance:

Installation Points: The pump should be installed below the condensate drain point to ensure gravity flow; the inlet pipe should have a downward slope to prevent air blockage; a check valve is recommended for the outlet pipe.

Routine Maintenance: Regularly check the float or level control mechanism for smooth operation; clean the inlet filter; for electric pumps, check the motor insulation and bearing condition.

Common Problems: Failure to pump water (check for inlet blockage or air blockage) and frequent start-stop cycles (check the float or sensor) are common problems; troubleshoot in this order.
