Main technical features
- Overall structure - the submersible electric pump is a reasonable and mature vertical machine pump direct-connected pump unit. It adopts a special shaft extension submersible motor at the top and the pump at the bottom. The pumping medium is sucked in from the bottom axially, flows through the impeller for pressurization, and then passes through the lateral discharge port of the pump body, and finally discharged through the elbow and straight pipe. The impeller is fixed to the motor shaft extension by hexagon socket screws, and forms a common rotor component with the motor shaft, laminations, etc. The short shaft extension and small cantilever ratio significantly reduce the eccentric deviation between the various parts of the rotor, reduce the center of gravity of the pump unit, and reduce vibration. Extend the service life of the machine seal and bearing. The vertical submersible sewage pump body and pump cover together form the pressure-bearing boundary. The design temperature is 40℃. The design pressure of the pump with a head of less than 40m is 0.6MPa, and the design pressure of the pump with a head of >40m is 1.0MPa. O-rings are used as reliable static seals at the joints between parts. During the assembly process, the static seals, cable seals, mechanical seals and motor chambers of each pump unit pump must be strictly tested for sealing to ensure safety and reliability.

- Advanced and optimized pump hydraulic component design - absorbs the latest achievements of universities and research institutes and the advanced experience of similar products of industry manufacturers.
- The impeller adopts multi-blade or double-channel type according to the inlet diameter and flow channel geometry, with high efficiency and wide outlet, so that no overload, high passability and anti-winding ability can achieve the best balance. The impeller mold is processed by CNC machining center to ensure the dimensional accuracy requirements of the casting, and the casting is molded by investment sand machine. The impeller of high-lift or high-power pumps has balancing holes, one is to balance the axial force of the rotor, and the other is to reduce the pressure of the water seal cavity and take away the heat generated by the friction of the dynamic and static rings of the water seal. The pump body has a wide flow channel, a reasonable outlet diffusion angle, small hydraulic loss, and good dirt passability.
- The impeller and pump body have been analyzed by CFD and verified by tests. The pump efficiency and pump group efficiency are much higher than the indicators specified in GB/T24674-2021 sewage submersible electric pump. While being highly efficient and energy-saving, it also takes into account the passability and anti-entanglement of solids or long fibers. The Q-H curve is relatively steep and the Q-P curve is relatively flat, achieving the design goal of no overload. The pump has a wide operating flow range, high efficiency, low vibration and smooth operation.
- Self-cleaning design of water chamber seal cavity - adopts self-cleaning technology design, an annular spiral groove structure is set on the pump cover, and a small radial gap is formed between the impeller and the pump. When the pump is running, the medium particles in the groove are thrown outward under the centrifugal force of the rotating impeller, preventing solid dirt from entering or preventing particles from being deposited in the seal cavity and damaging the rotating parts.
- Reliable mechanical seal - a water chamber and a single end face, large spring, rubber bellows water-lubricated mechanical seal are set between the pump chamber and the oil chamber. The dynamic and static rings use silicon carbide with a very low friction coefficient to contact tungsten carbide "hard to hard", which is more wear-resistant. The metal parts are made of stainless steel, which ensures the service life of the water seal for 15,000 hours; an oil chamber is set between the water chamber and the lower bearing of the upper motor, and a single end face oil seal is installed. The rubber parts are made of oil-resistant nitrile rubber. The friction pair dynamic and static rings use graphite to silicon carbide "soft to hard" immersed in the lubricating oil in the oil chamber, which has a longer service life than the water seal and is not easy to fail.
- Oil chamber - The oil in the oil chamber is 32# anti-wear hydraulic oil (GB11118.1-2011). In addition to lubricating the oil seal, it can also take away the heat generated by the friction of the bearing and prevent the penetration of the medium as an additional safety function. The amount of oil added is to the point where the oil overflows from the oil filling hole, and a certain volume of air can be retained in the oil chamber, so that the pressure in the oil chamber does not rise significantly after the oil temperature rises, thereby avoiding excessive damage or leakage of the mechanical seal. An oil-water mixing probe and a float switch are also installed in the oil chamber. When the medium on the pump side leaks into the oil chamber, the water leakage probe can detect whether the water in the water chamber has entered the oil chamber and alarm the electric control cabinet to stop the vertical submersible sewage pump; the float switch floats up and the motor is powered off, indicating that the medium level is lower than the minimum level.
Installation
WQ series vertical submersible sewage pump has five installation methods: automatic coupling installation, hose mobile installation, rigid pipe mobile installation, fixed base installation, and another fixed base installation.
Automatic coupling installation (Z).
Automatic coupling installation does not require conventional fasteners to connect the pump and the pipeline. The coupling device only has four parts: the outlet pipe seat, guide rod, guide rod frame, and coupling frame. The guide rod only serves as a guide and is not subject to force. It can be cut into the required length according to the depth of the pool with an ordinary tap water pipe or steel pipe, or the user can prepare it by himself.
During installation, install the outlet pipe seat, guide rod, and guide rod frame; fit the coupling frame to the pump flange; lift the pump, insert the semicircular hole on the coupling frame into the guide rod, and then slide the pump down along the guide rod to the bottom. The coupling frame will be aligned and fastened with the outlet pipe seat. When maintenance is required, just pull the vertical submersible sewage pump upwards and the pump and the outlet pipe seat will be disengaged.
Since the coupling device and the pump are relatively independent, if the user replaces a low-lift or high-lift pump of the same caliber in the same place of use due to changes in conditions, the original coupling device can still be used.
